The Sonsbeek Pavilion is a modern architectural structure located in Arnhem.
It was designed by the Dutch architect Aldo van Eyck in 1966 for the Sonsbeek Sculpture Exhibition.
The pavilion was created as a temporary structure, but it became very popular because of its unique design.
It has an open and circular form, made with glass and concrete, allowing visitors to connect with the surrounding nature.
The design reflects Van Eyck’s ideas about human interaction and space, making it both simple and thoughtful.
After the exhibition, the pavilion was removed, but due to its importance, it was later rebuilt in the same park.
Today, it stands in Sonsbeek Park as an example of modern architecture and is visited by people interested in art and design.
