Jewellery Inspired by Architecture
My art
INSPIRED BY ARCHITECTURE
My jewelry is a journey through a narrative inspired by iconic buildings from around the world. It starts from my books, continues through my travels, and expands its wings to my stay in Barcelona. Through the fusion of architecture and sculpture, seeing Gaudi's masterpieces, I felt an identification. My love for silversmithing made the buildings appear to me as sparkling jewelry. The idea of merging architecture and silversmithing represents to me a magical combination.
I treat my jewelry as sculptures to be worn.Every sculptor feels and observes the body they shape. When I sculpt a body from clay, I feel the need to care for it, and by extension, to dress it. My jewelry reflects the need to continue the plasticity of our bodies. The creative fulfillment I experience while crafting them is meant to be transferred as a beautiful energy to the person wearing them, aiming for them to feel connected to me. Success for me is when those who wear my creations highlight their own characteristics and emphasize their confidence. They derive dynamism and fit the aesthetic of our times. I have created them using techniques ranging from the oldest methods of silversmithing and micro-sculpture to the most modern ones.
The collection "Born From Ashes" consists of a series of modern jewelry inspired by buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries. It's my story, it's a part of myself, and they carry my name.
